The Tabernacle is closed for repairs to make it earthquake proof. If you take the time to go on the "Historic Live St. George Tour", they will provide you with a little history of the Tabernacle, but you are unable to go inside at this time.

Inspiring example of pioneer industry. Well crafted meeting house build by pioneers to this Southern Utah area. See freestanding spiral stairs, original poured glass windows, historic large building. Tour is lead by congenial, no pressure, elderly couples who provide historical details to the building. Make time to visit the Tabernacle when in St George, Utah.

We visited with friends. We stayed for the talk about the history of the beginning of St. George Utah and the Tabernacle. It was most informative.

Take the free tour and find out about the history of the Tabernacle. They are very informative on the church and its historic value. The Tabernacle will be closed for renovation. So check it out before you make a trip.

We loved this tour. It was air conditioned and was a great respite from the heat. The history was interesting and the "all seeing eye" was great.

The tabernacle has beautiful architectural detail. The sound is excellent and the concert schedule gives a lot of variety of free musical performances.
