This is a great place to spend an hour or two. Terrific views and some great hiking trails not far from the city. There are pre-installed hook ups if you want to rappel down a 50 or 60 foot drop. Kids love it and older adults can enjoy an easy hike. Tables for dining, bring your own. Overall nice experience.

This was our first stop in St. George and our first contact with the Red Rocks. It's a wonderful spot for hiking around with kids. Easy climbs and great views from the top. There is a beautiful desert garden-landscaped with native plants with a stream running through it. Large swings provide a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the views.... More

Stopped in here on our drive from Cedar City to Las Vegas. Nice trails and scenery. If you have the time, I recommend stopping there. My kids had a good time climbing all over the rocks.

Great for families that love to hike or climb around big rocks. Fantastic picture opportunities. We love to take pictures with our family at the arch at the top. Only the skinny ones can head through the slot canyon, but others can just view the interesting landmark. A variety of trails and or areas to walk for all levels.

This park is unlike any city park I've ever been to before--it's acres and acres of red rocks for climbing and exploring. My kids were thrilled that for once, exploring off the path was encouraged. This place was quite crowded, and there was some broken glass in a few places, but the number of people who use the park, I... More

The views are phenomenal and it is easy for the kids to run around and have a great time exploring. There is a little slot between two large rocks that is fun to wiggle through on the East side of the park.

Really its close to St George. Great views of the temple and the city and surroundings. Fun place for little hikers. To our dismay, they are doing some work to add a building or something. Hopefully they leave the rest of it alone.

My husband and I enjoyed exploring in the Pioneer Park. There are so many trails to check out. We only saw a small part of the park. The views of Saint George from the park are beautiful.

We stopped here to kill some time and loved walking around on the easy-to-climb rocks and enjoyed the wildlife and views. We saw some baby coyotes and large lizards. Overall a fantastic area to explore. We only had about an hour to spend here, but I can imagine spending several hours there. Please clean up after yourself.
