We were visiting St George for a baseball Tournament. This building is beautiful and amazingly old. You wouldn't guess that it is from afar because it is so well maintained. I'm amazed they were able to build such an amazing building so long ago without...More

Beautiful building with red rock cliffs in the background. Visitors center was awesome. Too bad it was closed. We would have liked to have gone inside.

If you have extra time while in St George stop by the St George Temple for a walk through the gardens or a visit to the visitors center for a free tour.

The inside is absolutely beautiful and breath taking each time you might go inside. You do have to have a temple recommend card to get inside. I feel the spirit each and every time I go in.

Excellent seasonal lighting display and a nice place to take a walk. Also a visitors center so you can get in out of the cold for awhile.

Overall, a walk through the temple is boring. After traveling and seeing so many beautiful cathedrals and churches, this is not really worth the visit. A large two story building with pews and stage.

Going inside is a lovely experience in a pioneer-built setting. Get there soon before it closes this fall.

Like any LDS Temple, you need a “Recommend”; kind of like a license, to go inside. However the grounds and Visitors Center are usually open to the public. Staffed by friendly missionaries, it is a nice way to learn about the church or just a...More
