You don't have to be a member of the Mormon church to be on the grounds of this beautiful old building.. well over one hundred years old. The building and landscaping are well maintained. There is a visitors center on the grounds with persons there to tell you the history of the building and the Mormon church in the area.... More

There is a peace at this site. The St. George Temple was built by pioneers and has a lot of history and beauty.

I visited St. George Temple during the week. What an absolutely stunning piece of property, not to mention the intimacy of what it represents. When I arrived I could hear beautiful singing from the inside. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful flowers growing about. The temple itself is a clean white. There are benches that you can sit and enjoy... More

As we were waiting for the Rain to die down, to continue with Baseball games, we decided to go to the visitors center of the St. George temple. It was a beautiful experience. And I do not feel it was a coincidence. Prayers were answered as the kind sister Missionaries reminded us of Gods Love and our Saviors love. They... More

This is a temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (aka Mormons). While non-members are not allowed to go inside the main building, the grounds are beautiful for a nice walk and plenty of benches if you need a quiet spot to sit and think. There is also a visitor's center on the grounds. If you are... More

A great place to relax under the shade of the trees, to soak in the spiritual environment, or to learn about the unique history of this amazing building.

You can not go inside unless you are a member of the church. This is the oldest temple of the church. You can go to the visitors center and see what the inside looks like. Well worth your time.

Safe, secure, peaceful and quiet. Interesting visitors center and awesome light display during Christmas. The temple cafeteria (not open to general public) is excellent with reasonably priced food for those who are Temple eligible.
