Beautiful setting and a peaceful atmosphere in the center of St. George. Time to get away from all the busyness.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I had the opportunity to go into the... read more

The temple is one of the "must see" when in St. George. As spectacular as the temple is in the sunlight, the temple is amazing at night. Each side provides a distinctly different view so take time to walk around the temple.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I had the opportunity to go into the temple and do some work for those who have already passed on to the other side. As always it was a spiritual experience.

First stop is the visitor center. The Gentlemen provided a great insight into what went into building this beautiful and amazing building.

This stop is a wonderful opportunity to experience the peace that comes from leaving the hustle and bustle of the world behind. Very peaceful and you can learn as much or as little bout the history of the temple and surrounding area. The grounds are...More

I'll admit, I'm biased about this beautiful place. I was married here. However tourists visiting St. George enjoy the visitor's center, the interactive displays and the helpful hosts who are ready to answer questions. There is no charge or entry fee.

The temple is beautiful and the grounds are shaded which make it a nice place to take the kids to play and enjoy the visitors center as well.

Greeted by welcoming "sisters" who explained the Temple and why they are serving their "mission" there. Toured the facilities and learned about how the Temple was built and the commitment that was made to complete such a structure. Excellent demonstrations and films of the history...More

This is one of the earliest but also one of the most beautiful temples to be built. The grounds are great and you get a good spiritual uplift just by being on the grounds.

One of the "classic" LDS temples. This was one of the first LDS temples completed in Utah. I believe it was finished before the SLC temple. It has maintained it's rural quaintness yet is in excellent repair.
