Heard about this place from a local and am very glad we went. This is a private ranch, open to public to view 100+ pictographs and petroglyphs. The trails are easy to follow and you can get up close and personal with the artwork left...More

Thanks to the McConkie Ranch folks for keeping these petroglyphs fairly safe, and easy to view for those of us who are so inclined. We have seen many sites around the SW, but this one contains some very interesting, large glyphs indeed! Easy to get...More

First, the bad news. The "trail" at the back of the parking area is steep, potentially slippery, and there are rocks/boulders to crawl over/around. I'm 73, but I hike frequently, and while this trail is easy to follow, it was awkward and I was afraid...More

The hike looked a tad scary at first glance, bring your walking sticks, (n water) it make it a lot easier. I was disappointed in at the first set of glyphs, but you have to take the other trail, now those are worth the whole...More

The drive out to the ranch was beautiful. I loved that they provided seating with shade at the trail head. Also, be sure and buy a $1 bottle of water (honor system) to take with you on the hike. I am a 60 year old...More

Both Hikes are nice to do. Some are hard to see, but they are super neat. I would recommend coming in the morning before it gets too hot.

Great place to hike and explore petroglyphs for the family. Donations taken and well worth the few dollars to see this amazing art.

There are some petroglyphs in the area, but these, here, are -- I think -- most amazing... If you are into this type of attraction, then tis is a definite -- go there and have fun thinking about our ancestors...

I suppose you could. I saw no signs saying you couldn't. The path to climb is narrow, but no problem for a dog.
