This is a small museum at the training site for Army Air Corps during WWII including the crew of the Enola Gay. Interesting photos and memorabilia are in two buildings interspersed with information about airfield operations. Staff was very nice. A good stop.

Neat museum. Learn about the Atomic bomb missions to Japan at the end of WW2. At one time there were 20000 military personnel in this out of the way base during the war.

Loved seeing the wonderful Historical Wendover Airfield! My husband and are aviation junkies. While we no longer fly we still thoroughly enjoy anything related to planes. The building that houses the museum is a jewel. Great gift shop and lots of amazing memorabilia. Thanks for...More

This was more than worth the stop. Don’t expect a tour guide and the lady at the desk hardly recognizes you. They could improve that. The airfield, old barracks, hangers, bunkers and more are all there. Where Big Boy got prepped to be dropped on...More

I had read about Tibbits and the Enola Gay B-29 training here and always wanted to stop and see it. The original control tower is still present on the active airfield as are many historic buildings, including the B-29 hangar used by the crews training...More

This was in an area that sort of looked like a run down airfield from days gone by. It was so cold and rainy we decided to stop by. Wouldn't have visited on a nice day.
