My husband and I dream about the produce at this market during the year as we spend the summer in Vermont from NYC. While the produce is not cheap it is worth every penny - everything is picked that morning and you can taste it. Come to Bennington where we have a wonderful market with local veggies, cheese, bread, honey, crafts and entertainment. There is always yummy baked goods as well as lunch selections.

Well, yeah, one does not want to disparage any farmers market anywhere, but I was surprised at how small this one was. Its a testament to the fact that Bennington is really part of the Green Mt FOREST and not surrounded by farms. I was able to get a few things, and the vendors were very nice, but this is... More

Yum! My daughter and I recently stopped and left with eggs, spinach, bok choi, marmalade, and granola to die for! My 8 year old also got free books from the Vermont reading program, she was so excited! Live music changes weekly and I love helping the local businesses.

I'm rather obsessed with farmer's markets, and this one was a pretty big disappointment. It's rather small, and the prices were astronomical (and this is coming from a girl who used to frequent Green City in Chicago).
