My wife and I are baseball fans. While traveling we would look for minor league stadiums to visit. When I was planning our trip up to Quebec I found the Vermont Lake Monsters. The minor league team of the Oakland A's farm system. They were playing the night we would be there so I ordered tickets. We spent the afternoon... More

Had a great time attending a Vermont Lake Monster game while visiting Burlington on vacation. Had done advance scouting of the ballpark and it's lack of stadium parking, but we figured if we got there early we could park at the field. That is a big mistake. The neighborhood leading to the park blocks off the side streets which makes... More

Historic Centennial Field has hosted baseball for almost a century. Classic, family-friendly ballpark with an old-time feel. There is essentially no parking at the ballpark, so if you're visiting from outside Burlington I would STRONGLY advise calling the team ahead of time to determine how to get there. I was stuck in traffic for 40 minutes and ultimately returned to... More

Went to a Lake Monster Low A baseball game this past week at Centennial Field. Overall wonderful experience: field updates did not lose the old time baseball look and feel. All concessions are either under or behind the stadium seating proper and close by. I appreciated that aspect very much. When you are in your seat ($5 - $7), it's... More

Centennial Park is clean and easy to access. The gate prices inexpensive and there are always some type of giveaways. The employees are friendly and helpful. Food and drink prices are very reasonable and there is always entertainment before and during innings. The Lake Monsters organization makes a fun environment for all in the family.

We went to see a Lake Monster game with my 7 and 9 year old sons. What a great night, tickets are dirt cheap, we were right behind home plate and paid $8 a ticket. Stadium is very nice, clean and uniquely historic. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was good and reasonable. Worth $3 to park in lit... More

We took our nine year old nephew to a Lake Monsters' game and though it eventually was rained out, I was impressed with the price to get in, pregame entertainment, and concession prices too.

Was a great game and the promotions for each day are outstanding. I only don't like the parking. They don't have a lot and the stuff they fills up quick.

The old wooden stadium is one of very few left in use today. We watched a game, not the best game, but fun to be sitting in historic stadium.

I had the chance to catch a Lake Monsters (Single A Minor League) game recently. I have not been to a major league game in decades, as they are way too expensive. But I love the minors and will attend when I get a chance. The stadium is smallish by many standards, but that's not a bad thing as it... More
