One of the main highlights of living in Burlington for me is being able to walk here. During the warmer weather I love to go really early and sit at the end of the dock. You can watch the cloud and enjoy the Adirondacks across the lake, listen to the water lap and the seagulls. So relaxing and you gently... More

Cold and nippy but bright and invigorating for a walk down from Battery Park the back way to the Waterfront. Heard an early morning bugle call from the Coast Guard buildings. Some folks were walking dogs. The waterfront park and the boathouse were glistening with snow. Beautiful view across the lake at the New York mountains.

the lake is really beautiful when the sun comes down. I had cuisine on the boat to watch the sun came down and it was a impressive trip.

Always love it. Took off in a small boat for NY state this July. Small marina, but accessible. Dining and drinking available. Frankly Burlington deserves a larger, more upscale water front, but it wasn't meant to be so I accept this alternative. Lake Champlain is inspiring and Burlington is special. Just remember Vermont's motto, "10 months of winter and 2... More

The Boathouse is run by an excellent staff of the Parks and REc Dept. Local and trasient boats can moor and visit the city of Burlington or hang out at Splash,a seasonal, upscale restaurant within the Boathouse.

I had my rehersal dinner at the boat house in 1992 and am now looking at this as a possible place to renew vows for our 25th! It is such a beautiful spot. Sunset are a dream. Great photo spot.

While visiting my daughter in Burlington, we went on several walks along beautiful Lake Champlain. The boathouse dock was often the start point. Several times, we got "Creamee's (we call them soft serve ice cream). Maple is the popular flavor and it was delicious.

We were here in the evening. The dance lessons going on upstairs, the boaters coming in for the evening to tie up, or people like us who just wanted to sit and watch the world go by. It was a hot evening, and a great place to find the breeze to cool off and people watch.
