So the South end of North Beach Park is the unofficial Dog beach... a short and beautiful walk from the Waterfront Park in Burlington. Shhhh.

We loved our day here! So relaxing and peaceful. Water was nice and views were spectacular! Kids rented SUPs and tired themselves out! Nice snack bar as well as picnic tables and grills. Looks like it's a very popular place to camp. On a beautiful...More

We arrived around 11 on a Saturday and the beach was calm and clean. The grassy area in between the beach and parking lot is a nice option for those who want to enjoy the sand. The bathroom was your typical really dirty beach bathroom...More

This is a very nice park. the people working there were very accommodating. The campground has nice places to walk, a great beach, good bath houses. It abuts the waterfront bike/walk trail. It's within easy distance to downtown.

We came here on a recommendation for the fireworks display. The good: The park is clean, and the bathrooms are cleaned 3-4 times daily over this trip that we noticed. Campground is about a 90 second walk from the beach depending on your site location....More

Beautiful guarded beach on Lake Champlain. It can get a bit crowded down by the parking lots and snack stand, but if you hang to the left a bit you'll feel like you have the beach to yourself. As another reviewer stated, it's a bit...More

Rode bikes to this park and then hiked to some cliffs overlooking the lake. Just gorgeous views. beach is lovely and there are nice picnicking areas. Great place to spend a day, afternoon or evening.

This is one of many parks along Lake Champlain. North Beach Park is accessible by the bike trail. The "beach" is as hard as rocks and the swimming is okay- but it's a nice place for a picnic and to be at the water.

I recall seeing people carrying fishing gear, but don't recall seeing people fishing. I assume there has to be, but can't say for certain.

Yes and no. My understanding is that dogs can be in the grassy park behind the sand but not on the beach and definately not in the water. I saw the lifeguards activity enforcong this.
