If you are interested in history, then this is a must-see in the Burlington area. The tour guides are both knowledgeable and entertaining. Our whole family, including 8 and 10 year old boys, enjoyed the trip out to see Ethan Allen's home.

There seemed to be a shortage of tour guides. Some talked at length and thus prevented other groups from assessing some rooms. I did enjoy learning bits about Ethan Allen and the house he lived in. I enjoyed seeing people in 18th century garb. Also...More

One of my 2 friends, whom I went with, is a history buff, and was looking forward to spending considerable time here. She was very disappointed in that it is very small and the only original part of the house is one interior wall. That...More

They volunteer was very knowledgeable of the history of Ethan Allen’s farm, the construction, the reconstruction, and the area. It’s in a beautiful setting not far from Burlington city center with many miles of walking trails well worth the visit

A fantastic day trip, even in the rain. Dan, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question asked. My 4 year old son got a little bored, my 7 and 9 year old daughters loved it!
