Nice visitor center with an available not for free 15 min tour. Numerous cheese samples available to try which was interesting. They will provide ice packets if warm outside to keep cheese cold. Interesting history of Cabot farmers. And I did not know Cabot cheese is lactose free !

If you love Cabot cheese, it is definitely worth stopping into the factory and do the tour if you are in the area. It is interesting to watch the process and you get plenty of cheese samples. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. You can also find some of the harder to find products at their store.

The tasting room was great! Got to sample many delicious cheeses that are made here. The tour was disappointing in that we could not hear the guide over all the manufacturing noise. They take 10 - 12 people at a time...if you are very near the guide, you probably could hear, but we were at the back and could not... More

Was hoping the tour would have been longer and more involved. We watched a video for a little bit and then toured the factory for a short while. Was hoping it was longer than it was. When you leave the tour it puts you in their store and you get to sample tons of cheeses, of which we bought a... More

Tour could have been more informative (guide did not seem to know the answers to some questions that seem like routine - how many cows are owned by the co-ops farms, how many people are on the cleaning equipment crew). A lot of cheese to try! Nice gift shop (we caught a sale!!).

The tour was shorter and slightly less-informative than we had hoped, but it was still a fun experience that we did not regret. Enjoy the free cheese tasting in the shop!

I enjoyed the variety of what you experience: shopping in the store, watching a movie, sampling all sorts of cheese, and touring the factory. Very fun!

A short but interesting tour that leaves on regular basis during the day. So no waiting! The best part we think, was the shop that sells an amazing variety of cheeses.
