So much fun! And so beautiful inside and outside of the hotel. Gorgeous scenic views and multiple activities available to you within walking distance (and there are underground tunnels so you don't have to get cold!).

Jay is not known for its great hotels and food or hospitality. I sometimes make day trips from boston (4 hr drive) just because they have so much snow and great terrain to ski in that snow (and limited accommodations). With an annual avg of...More

My boyfriend and I came for a Thursday night. We were able to check in a little early and they do allow you to pick up your ski/water-park passes before going to your room if it's not ready. There's valet available to park your vehicle...More

I was at Jay Peak all week. The skiing was very good, especially the second half of the week. However, the hospitality of this “resort” leaves much to be desired. Even under new management, Jay Peak still hasn’t earned the title “resort.” Today (Friday, February...More

With kids in tow, "plans" often turn out to be "guidelines." The resort staff was pretty flexible so that was a plus. It is pretty remote, so heading up there expecting to be catered to constantly is pretty unrealistic. You can have it that way...More

Not worth the 6 hour ride from NYC. There literally was nowhere to eat. The restaurants were all filled and no way to find a table other than pizza every day. The chair lift stopped every 3 minutes. The tram was closed for 3 out...More

Jay Peak’s front-line staff are easy to like, extremely helpful, and well trained. The mountain, unlike most, is disproportionally steep, and during our visit skiing 12/12-12/14, deep. Unfortunately, the Tram is broken, and for safety reasons, Tram side is closed to skiing unless you finagle...More

Jay has done a great job reinventing the resort to make it a great destination...but the whole reason to go is for the skiing, so you need to be able to get up the hill. Despite having a great start to the season with 5...More

Lots a cute places very close to ski area. Woodshed lodge is a nice B&B. Best skiing in the northeast so worth it.
