The 2-bedroom condo was roomy and had everything (full kitchen, washer/dryer, gas fireplace). I would recommend asking for a top floor - the noise from above was unbearable from the first floor. My kids and husband had never skied before this and they had a great experience with the rental, lift & lesson package. Free hot chocolate at the end... More

I've been skiing on and off my whole life but after recently relocating north, decided it was time to take a lesson or two to brush up on my skills on mountain. After looking at a whole bunch of mountains in VT, Smuggs was the clear winner for the ratio of cost to time on mountain in instruction. The program... More

An off season visit so it was quiet and relaxing. Took several walks on their trails, well marked amd maintained. We stayed in the Owls for the first time, excellnt unit- except for the wi-fi. You have to pay extra for the service here, $35 for the week. This is the only resort that we have stayed at in years... More

The resort has maintained its reputation for a great winter vacation destination. Caters to families and has outstanding staff that is always ready to help. And, by the way, the skiing/snow boarding is great too.

Living in Northern Vermont has its benefits, and sampling the great variety of ski areas is one of them. My wife and I tend to go to Smuggs because of its vast selection of trails. A great variety. Lots of groomed choices, as well as glades (if that's your favorite). We have skied throughout New England, and Smuggs rates among... More

What can you say? We have been coming to smuggs for over 20 years! It is very consistent. Caters to families and the skiing has all the challenge you need from easy greens to double blacks!

The SNAP program (Smugglers Notch Adaptive Program) gave our non-ambulatory daughter the ability to sit ski down the slopes. This allowed our family to take the first of hopefully many ski trips! We were so impressed by how well run the SNAP program is, instructor Emily is awesome! Our 3 other kids attended Snow Sport University for 5 days and... More

I have been going to Smugglers Notch for 16 years now and I still don't have one bad thing to say about it. The memories that we make at each of our visits keeps us coming back and I'd like to thank Smuggs for that. They just know what makes a family happy and caters to everyone. Each season brings... We're club owners at Smuggs so this might sound a little biased, but this was our first time here in the fall. We've been here in summer and winter and our kids learned to ski here. The kids programs are first-rate in both those seasons. But now our kids are older and we are empty-nesters, so we decided to see... More
