Stopped by here while staying in Ludlow. It was an easy walk/hike to one of the waterfall spots. The view was great and relaxing. A great short trip.

Photographers...a short walk from the road with gear..always a plus! Lovely cascades with varied rock textures and colors. Fall foliage time should make for lovely images...too early for our visit last week. There are 3 falls, upper, middle and lower...we didn't see upper but the...More

Nice place to go swimming. Fun and pretty. You have to drive down a little road w/the same name and park where you can and walk into the woods just a tad to a beautiful hole and river to swim in

Great swimming place in the summer, fun to jump off the rocks when its deep enough. It will be cold at all times, be advised

Really need location.. we visited Sept 16 and water level was low. Still a nice afternoon... wading vs swimming. With higher water levels would have been really great.

Easy to find, good parking, paths to all 3 falls, nice place to visit and dangle your toes in the cool waters, If you are daring, a cool dip on a hot day. Enjoyed a picnic lunch and the sound of the falls.

Very small falls and water pool. Little hard to access for elderly or physically challenged. We actually fell asleep on the rocks in the sun with the sound of the water.

Many beautiful falls and wonderful swimming holes. Nice trail meanders through the woods along the river and past many picturesque waterfalls.

This is a great spot for a quick little hike. I did see several people swimming, but I decided against it after hearing several rattlesnakes. Beautiful scenery, but don't expect to stay too long - the trail is short.

Buttermilk Falls is one of the natural wonders of the area. Clean, refreshing and absolutely invigorating, it is a great swimming hole to cool off in. The water is cold and it might take your breath away but it is worth it!

It's not really a picnic destination. Better to hike the falls and then drive 5 minutes to Okemo mountain and picnic on the slopes. In fact, if you want to have a picnic/hiking day, drive to the top of the clock tower base... More
