Manchester Hot Glass is a glass blowing studio & gallery in Manchester, Vermont. Check out our popular Glassblowing 101 class and learn the craft yourself!Having read a few not so hot reviews I would like to add that Glass making is not a slow process. We work with HOT Glass and to do so you need to keep moving. I dont rush people, I work at a pace that is nessassary to make quality glass.

Stopped in on our way back from skiing, never expected to be able to create something. We didn't have an appointment it was a last minute thing because it was almost closing time but Andrew refired the ovens and showed me how to create the most beautiful wavy bowl, I still can't believe I did this. He is a riot.... More

We and our kids loved this. Even though they are young, they were able to blow glass, and to make beautiful works of art using other glass-working techniques. Unlike many glass-blowing centers, this was not at all lame. It was the real thing. The owner(s) and staff are funny and knowledgeable and made this an experience that we will always... More

Three years ago, my girlfriend and I spent our first Valentine's Day together in Manchester, and did the Glassblowing 101 course (just the two of us, with two instructors, for two hours). It was the standout highlight of our trip and we've since referred a handful of friends and family members to visit Andrew at Manchester Hot Glass - everyone... More

I didn't plan ahead on our last trip to VT and forgot about making a reservation or look into a class for the glass blowing studio, which I had seen the last time I was in Manchester. I called the morning of while driving up to see if there were any openings ; there were not. Decided to just stop... More

We booked the Glassmaking 101 class -- two hours, two people, six objects -- and we had a blast. Andrew and Molly take their craft seriously, but make the experience fun and interesting. They start by giving you a few exercises to get you used to the tools and tasks you will need to do during the class, and work... More

Very cool glassblowing experience. My 7 year old was able to make her own beautiful paperweight. Owner is entertaining and fun.

Made a reservation with Andrew Weill to make paper weights for my husband and I as it was our anniversary weekend and we wanted to remember our trip to Vermont-it was hands-down the most fun I had that weekend and Andrew is a master craftsman! it is worth the time and the money to make a unique piece of artwork... My wife and I spent an hour or so with Andrew making a glass bowl. The entire experience was very cool (well, temperature was really hot) - besides the hands-on experience, we learned a lot about the process. The main draw might actual be Andrew himself - he's a big hearted guy, who was funny, irreverent, informative - we bonded... More

We really wanted to see this place in action BUT ... it was closed. Coming from a city, we weren't prepared for off season closing. Understandable but disappointing.
