You can't beat a beautiful little art museum with free admission, and some real gems in their collection. Don't miss the Calder mobile hanging in the back hallway. Also, there are some big pieces outside that are fun to explore.

The acoustics are wonderful; intimate setting yet spacious and comfortable. Anything presented here is top notch and usually reasonably priced.

We spent the week traveling around New England and happened upon this little museum at Middlebury College. Wonderful exhibits--loved the Andy Warhol pieces!

I love revisiting this museum. It's amazing what this small town can provide. The Andy Warhol and the graffiti/outsider art was a real treat. There's even a section of wall relief that has another section housed in the British Museum. I was amazed to see it here, so close to home. The regular collection has a nice variety for everyone,... This small art museum is a somewhat hidden gem. Contains a permanent collection as well as changing exhibits on two floors. The second floor is accessible by stairs or elevator, and is entirely free. Very well done as you would expect in a major city museum. A credit to the college.

We came to Middlebury College for the sculpture garden. I really wanted to see the LOVE statue by Robert Indiana. We pulled up behind Mahaney Center for the Arts and parked. Then it was time to just walk around and find it. The gardens are beautiful! It was a pretty day and a fun thing to do in Middlebury!

Two floors with a wonderful selection from American to Asian. Coffee shop located in the building and no admission charge to the galleries! Definitely worth a visit. Exhibits change pretty often. Check their calendar for lectures and gallery talks.

Wonderful center and great to see a new play. Seemed like there was a lot going on that might be interesting for another trip.

Fantastic museum, small and compact but very well curated. The Antiquities section is particularly fine, with a stunning Assyrian relief of a standing genie figure with a extensive cuneiform inscription, Also a wonderful Cycladic idol as well as some good Classical vases. Really worth taking a look.

We went to a wonderful concert with cello and piano at the Mahaney Arts Center. This is a beautiful concert hall which has a wonderful series that features instrumentalists, vocalists and dancers. Worth a visit if you are in the area!!
