You can rent bikes at the bike store in newport and ride for a while. The trail is not well marked in the beginning so bring a phone with gps. The ride is flat and beautiful. Bring a passport if you want to go further...More

I have lived here for years, and have just recently started using the bike path! I must say I just love this path! It is so serene and beautiful! It is well kept and just a great place to walk or bike!

Great bike path with marked mileage. We parked at the hospital and ran 3 miles along the beautiful water. It was both shaded and sunny throughout our run and it was a place we will return to. We are excited to hit the Canadian border...More

This is a great bike path, very well maintained, and most of it is quite level. Part of it is on the road, but there is room to ride.

Loosely packed surface perfect for walking, biking, cross-country skiing. No motorized vehicles. Path crosses fields, shaded areas, and follows along the shore of Lake Mempremagog. From Newport, VT into Canada. Quiet and beautiful.

Nice and safe, lots of hills on the (empty) if you continue on into canada! Nice trail along the water - with great views for the actual bike path part

The views of the lake and the surrounding countryside are out of this world. The path makes it very easy to walk, jog or bike.

Enjoy a ride all the way to the Canada border on this easy fairly flat ride that winds along the shores of lake Memphremagog, the most beautiful lake in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.

We enjoyed 3 separate paths, linked by sections of village streets .. paved by downtown waterfront, paved leading out of town by strip mall and high school, and crushed stone on actual rail trail that starts at hospital and goes 3.8 miles north to Canada...More

It's a great place for a walk. It's flat and quite scenic when you get to the small bridge and can see the lake.
