The Montshire is an award-winning hands-on science museum. You'll experience over 140 exciting exhibits relating to the natural and physical sciences, ecology, and technology. As a 110-acre museum on the Connecticut River, there's always plenty to explore, both indoors and out! Open daily 10-5. Summer Admission (May 17-September 7) $16 for adults, $13 for children 2-17. Regular Admission: $14 for adults, $11 for children 2-17 Two day passes available. Free for members and children under 2 years of age. Water exhibits in outdoor Science Park are on mid-May through early October.

While geared to kids, it is still enjoyable for adults. The number of exhibits and activities is impressive. There is stuff to do all over. They incorporated outdoor spaces as well, like 100 acres. The solar system trail is a great perspective building excercise. We...More

Lots to do here! We enjoyed the indoor interactive exhibits very much. The outdoor walking trails are not to be missed. Very fun and overall a great way to spend 1/2 a day while in the area.

My apologies for not responding sooner—somehow this is the first time I saw your questions. Yes, we do have a wheelchair available for use. The first two floors are accessible as are some of the trails. Thanks again
