Great place for kids

It was great to see our 2 kids18 months and 4 yo. exploring and discovering with no restriction to what they could touch. They also have a great outdoor space.

Took our 2 kids, aged 4 and 6, and was an excellent way to spend an afternoon. Inside, there were really fun interactive and educational exhibits, outside a fun water play area as well as walks through woods. Was fun for the adults also. We could have spent a full day there had we the time, thoroughly recommended.

As a science tea he to expected this to be fun and always anticipate it catering to children but the prices of admission is ridiculous for a small "museum" and for the fact it caters to 6 year olds and below! They do not have teacher or student discounts or elderly.... Not worth a visit unless you have little little... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this wonderful museum for kids (and adults). I loved the bees and ant colonies and the bubble station. Kids, yound and old, will enjoy the inside and be amused by the outside. The grounds have several hiking trails of different difficulties and tables for picnics (stop by King Arthur Flour to get food).

Can't say anything bad about this museum. It's a very manageable size with great exhibits that interest my 5, 8 and 10 year olds, as well as my 40ish year old husband! We love to visit in the summer when the water exhibits are working outside. Great place to bring a picnic. We are now members (despite living 1.5 hours... More

Just echoing what many others have said previously. We have travelled to many different children's museums in several different states, and this is by far one of the best. It's the perfect size, very engaging, with a "hands-on" focus to all of its exhibits. We live 1.5 hours away, but visit this museum at least 6 times a year because... More

My 10 year old son LOVED this museum! He could have stayed all day (and wanted to!) We stayed about 2.5-3 hours, and would have stayed longer if we didn't have other plans. There are lots of different activities that we both enjoyed - three or four floors of activities and hands on exhibits! I love that there are outdoor... More

Kids loved this place! I have to say, there are a lot of things I learned myself and there were some great puzzles that I had to be dragged out by my wife from because they were very challenging for me. There were exhibits in physics and mechanics as well as exhibits detailing the lives of real bees and ants.... More

I must admit I was very skeptical when I went into the museum. My sister, a biology student at Dartmouth, really wanted to go, but all I saw were little kids. So we paid the $13 entry -- a bit pricey if you ask me -- and went in. As I walked around the animal exhibits on the first floor... More
