I love just walking around perusing all of the wonderful items for baking. They have it all!!!! Not just ingredients to produce the most wonderful baked goods, but cook books, cake pans and other specialty items. I am happy just to spend 30 minutes breathing in the air of freshly baked bread!

My husband attended a bread making class as part of our bread & beer weekend at the Norwich Inn. The class really taught us how to make bread and was a lot of fun and was very well organized. The breads we made were delicious and were served as part of the feast at the Norwich Inn. The King Arthur... More

I thought I knew how to bake bread until I attended their 4 day artisan bread baking class this fall. My mom and I took it together and absolutely had a ball! The instructors were all very clear in their explanations and great about helping each person. Since then I've been making beautiful and delicious bread, rolls, croissants, sourdough goodies,... Wish we could have taken a class while we were here. Alas, our schedule didn't allow it. Never the less, I enjoyed my visit. I was a little surprised by how many mixes were available for purchase -- I feel like a lot of KAF fans are people who prefer to bake from scratch. But I could be wrong, of... More

Came to shop in the great bakery store and have lunch with a friend. Great demo's are offered in the store. We saw them make a Chocolate Pie and got to sample the results. You can watch the cooking classes through the windows. The Cafe offers Breakfast and Lunch options. Everything is wonderful. Lots of food items in the refrigerators... More

We are not into baking bread or any such thing, but since this was near where we were staying we figured what the heck, tour buses or not, we would stop by. Turns out my wife found some very useful baking pans that, despite our frequent shopping forays in many places, she had not been able to easily find. The... More

This place is awesome! I'm definitely into baking. My Aunt thought I would appreciate this place. She was right! I've gone up to VT 4 times in the past 4 months. This last trip up led to an unexpected 2nd trip to KA since she gave me a gift card, knowing how much I loved it the first time we... More

My boyfriend and I attended Basic Bread, which was a 3-hour course. We both had an amazing time. Everything was so well-organized and the timing was perfect -- we had enough breaks and enough lecture and enough hands-on time. Everyone got a coupon for a free coffee or tea during our break, and then a discount at the store. I... More

When my daughter and I threw out the idea of taking a cooking class to my husband and teen son, I got the customary eye rolls. Regardless, I signed us up for the Stromboli family fun night. And about halfway through our class, the boys were so in to it that they were asking if we could do other classes.... More
