This store has a lot to offer, really enjoyed our time there. So many avant-garde items, their play on nostalgia is a nice touch. Too bad it's almost closing time when we got there. You need to spend more than an hour if you want to comb the whole store, fact that there is a deli and a great selection... More

I like to stop in here a couple times a year to look around, pick up some gifts, and leave with a small bag of mixed candy for myself. They have some really interesting merchandise and some of it I've never seen anywhere else... at least, not for 20 or 30 years. I got hooked on some peppermint foot cream... More

Old time country store with a little of everything. Housewares and clothes, candy and toys, cleaning supplies and Christmas decorations. Plus an extensive deli with local fudge and cheese. There are several around the state, and this one is just off interstate 91 a couple miles. Worth the stop if you have the time.

If you want to sample a little bit of everything then you will enjoy a visit to this destination tourist stop. We did find some items more expensive here. We weren't aware of the price differences until we visited other establishments that were similar in theme. It is also worth noting that while most Vermonters are extremely welcoming and friendly,... It is a family owned store. It is on a road with nothing else around. The store is large (2 floors) with every imaginable section - a real old-fashioned one stop shopping experience. Plus there is a large food section where you can order sandwiches. You can wander through and look at unique, odd, or "old-time" of your youth offerings.... More

Stopped here on a visit to Vermont recently. They carry a really wide range of goods from kids toys, clothing, nostalgic games and candy. They also have some tasty good items. Very enjoyable stop. Like many tourist type places their prices are on the high side (not outrageous - just that little extra added)

We live 15 minutes away & we find this a great place to take visitors. Sometime we just stop in to check out the store when we're driving by. It is a fun place to shop for Christmas gifts.

We had long seen the Vermont Country Store iconic catalog, and decided to check out the Rockingham store. It a a bit of everything - food, pots and pans, clothes, Vermont crafts, among others. You do have to look carefully, though, as there are many products that are not made in Vermont, or the USA. We decided to buy some... More

Periodically I visit the Rockingham store because they have things they don't have in their catalogue and it makes for a good day trip from Southern New England. This trip, they have rearranged the store from the last time I was there and seem to have more food items and fewer household items and ladies' clothing (sleepwear in particular). I... More
