Great family ski area one of the first in the country!!! On the back side of Killington. Well groomed trails, not far from Rutland that has good hotels and dining !

Seems to be a mountain for locals because travelers tend to go to Killington which is visible from the summit. Quiet and friendly atmosphere with more skiing than snowboarding. The mountain has a decent amount of glades but not a lot of terrain parks.

Pico is a good choice for weekend skiing when you are in the Killington area. There are nice skiing trails, not big number of them, but a good variety for all skiing levels.
