You park your vehicle across Route 4 from The Mountain Top Inn (which has great food and a rustic Irish pub by the way). The trail is clearly marked, the hike is short (somewhat steep at the top) and the view is awesome!

We hiked with a mixed group of 40 somethings. The trail was pleasantly challenging and the mayflies much less pleasant. The view, however, completely worth it!

Deer's Leap is a beautiful spot. Getting to the top is well worth the hike. It's an easy to moderate trail.

This is a great "short" but moderately strenuous hike. By short I mean it took me about 1 1/2 hours to the highest point then about 1 1/4 hours to return to the parking area. The hike itself is not overly strenuous but also not...More
