We stopped by here to learn more about the Civil War Confederate Raid on Saint Albans on October 19, 1864. We were met at the door by our docent and museum board member, Patty. Patty was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the...More

I brought my elderly parents and they loved it. The displays are interesting and we'll kept. I especially liked the railroad information.

Very nice, old, refurbished building. I would picture a small wedding reception, Taylor park is across the street which would be an additional perk for pictures! Another plus, there is a convenient elevator!

I lived in St. Albans in 2002-2003. A curious find is a collection of early x-ray tubes! These tubes are owned by a local university. I am interested as I served in Vietnam in 1967 as a Medic taking X-Rays!

I was a bit skeptical about opening up my wallet and paying the six dollar admission fee. It was worth every penny and we spent at least two hours in the museum. So much to see with friendly people to describe the displays. The town...More

I've been a few times with my son (now 5) and we have enjoyed the multitude of displays to look at. I will say that outside of the train exhibit and the nice diorama of the Saint Albans area it's more for older kids. First...More
