The skiing and resort facilities were fine. However, the skis cost more to rent than they would have to buy, and the premium skis were far from it. A half day lift pass costs the same as a full day, and was only mildly discounted...More

Beautiful resort catered to families willing to spend big money. Was fun, but not the typical Vermont feel ski resort if that is what you're looking for. If you want a ritzy place with spa treatment, and all the bells and whistles then this is...More

We came here off season but there still was plenty to do here and in the surrounding areas. The hotel itself and our room were great. The only problem was that one night there was bad weather so we ate at the hotel restaurant and...More

This place in hands down the best skiing for families and kids. The ski school for kids is really amazing. The accommodations are top notch. Spring skiing was awesome at Stowe. This place is on the expensive side... but you get what you pay for....

Stowe's terrain is great and typically you will only find high-quality skiers off the Mansfield quad, as many intermediates and beginners stay over on the Gondi side or at Spruce. Post-Vail acquisition, not a lot has changed but the conditions were quite good during several...More

End of season Spring 2018 mid-week ski trip to Stowe. Well worth the drive from Maryland. Classic Spring conditions, no lift-lines, very friendly and helpful staff. Best conditions on trails with snow-making that are regularly groomed. Purchased 3 days of tickets online in advance for...More

Our group came to ski in early March. I was disappointed that the Toll House mountain was not open as we had a couple skiers that needed the easier terrain. They don't even make snow over there which seems odd to me. Don't they want...More

I went to visit my daughter and her fiancé for week. While I was there I went skiing. I also took a ski lesson while I was there. My instructor was a great instructor. He pushed me outside my comfort zone....which I needed. Then he...More

Additional places to visit would be Burlington about 30 minutes away with Lake Champlain and nice views across the lake to New York State. If it's hot, take a Ferry ride or Spirit of Ethan Allen or go to the beach. A popular... More
