This is our favorite Vermont Mountain, with lots of terrain and we were lucky enough to be there during and after a snowfall. We recently skiied Snowmass in Colorado, and while this is not as big, beautiful or endless, and the staff not quite as friendly and helpful (you didnt see me struggling to put my skis in the rack... Stowe was at its best this week with tons of new snow. Seemed more like a big western mountain than a new england gem...unable to cover entire mountain in one day...definitely stay for 2 (or 3!)

Not much has changed on Mansfield since I was there years ago (compared to across the road at Spruce!). The Quad is faster, which is nice, and the Gondola is still the most comfortable ride up. Love the variety - from the challenging Quad runs, to the old favourites Gondolier and Perry Merrill off the gondola. Rough weather the week... More

The best ski area in the East. Loaded with traditions, one comes here to make their own memories. Every trio is a new experience, for families of all ages there is not a better place to come.

amazing hike! we went all the way to the top. Guides that say this is easy to moderate are grading on the Vermont scale. I highly suggest you be in good shape when you go.

Beautiful, absolutely breathtaking. We also did the zip line tour through the Stowe Mountain Lodge adventure center in October and any season, any view.. Inexplicable.

A wonderful place for families, singles, couples. A four season resort, just 8 miles from the village of Stowe.

One of the better mountains in Vermont. Stowe has great services and the mountain is a lot of fun for all capabilities. It's almost like you get a mountain just for beginners with a "real" mountain across the way for intermediate and expert level skiers.

The ski area at Stowe offers spectacular skiing for all levels with beautiful views, lots of slope side food and beverage options, and lots of easy parking. With lots of consistent snow, this mountain is definitely in the top two or three in the east!

Thank Richard P
