"Ski It If You Can!" This is THE New England mountain for purist skiers; boarders need not show up, you're not welcome here! I love taking first timers here; one look at the old lodge, the single and double chair lifts and they're immediately thinking "small", "not challenging", "boring". One run, and they're dying for more. When it snows hard,... More

It was crowded when we went on a Saturday after receiving 2 ft of snow, but it was worth it. The parking attendants are fabulous. They will will find spots where you think none exist. The lift lines were a little long, but it was worth the wait. Trails for all ability levels. Skiers dressed in costumes made it entertaining.... More

My son skied and had a blast! First chair, loved the terrain, the mountain has a great personality. We were lucky to hit it after the big storm-3-4ft fresh snow.

We spent a long weekend in Vermont trying out different resorts and Mad River Glen was clearly a favorite. Friendly people, awesome trails for both average and advanced skiers, and never any long lift lines. Cant wait to come back next year!!

This was our first trip to Mad River Glen and we had a blast. We have been to other ski-only (no boarders) mountains and this is a great one. The staff are very friendly, helpful and all had positive attitudes. Our family has a range of abilities -plenty of skiing for everyone. We skied 3 days in a row during... More

We had a blast on our family vacation with friends. Mad River Glen had such A++ service from the rentals, restaurant and bar, ski patrol, instructors and all staff! We will visit again next year:) Great skiing for all ages. Do not stay at the Mad River Barn, they are not affiliated with this beautiful mountain.

I learned to ski at Mad River but hadn't been back in 30 years. It is still the same! And that is all a part of its charm. I hope it never changes!

If you're a skier - its worth getting to this place. Old school fun. Great to ride the only single chair in the lower 48 and its a much quicker ride to the top than I was expecting. Some great runs
