From local residents to tourists, the Green Mountain Coffee(R) Cafe and Visitor welcomes all guests to the Historic Waterbury Train Station. After a complete refresh of the interior in the summer of 2016, the landmark uniquely celebrates Green Mountain Coffee and the great state of Vermont. Adorned with photography taken by employees during the company's annual Employee Source Trips to coffee growing regions, visitors are invited to wander through the rich, 35-year history of Green Mountain Coffee(R), take part in hands-on education about specialty coffee and the roasters' award-winning coffees, and enjoy one of the staff's coffee creations in the lounge, from artfully pulled espresso to decadent Pecan Pie Supreme. The Cafe is also the only retail store where visitors can find rare Green Mountain Coffee(R) blends like Tanzanian Gombe Reserve, and also mix-and-match their own variety packs from 48 different Green Mountain Coffee(R) K-Cup(R) pod varieties in the Keurig(R) Singles kiosk.

More a coffee shop than visitor center

The price of the k cup coffees were more than I pay at the store. The visitor center was more pamphlets than a person to talk to but they do have a beautiful building

This place is a sales shop for their coffee. Very disappointing. Expected to see at least a video of their roasting the coffee and filling their kids cups. Nothing like that. A shot glass of strong coffee was not worth the drive

Beautiful remodeled old Waterbury Train station now used as a show piece for Green Mountain Coffee. Great variety available of their coffees for purchase. Highly recommended for coffee lovers.

I was hoping for something more than just a coffee shop and some postings in the wall. Located in the train station I was underwhelmed. The coffee is good but I expected more. At least a movie or samples if their various coffees. Unless you want a cup of coffee, skip it.

Just stopped here thinking we'd sample a bunch of coffee and stock up on k-cups and it was basically a Starbucks. They didn't have any k-cups that I couldn't get in the grocery store back home either. Got some good iced maple syrup coffee/Chai drinks but other than that I wouldn't go out of your way to come here.

Interesting and charming location at a train station. I bought pumpkin spice ice coffee which was excellent. There's just one room with some history and background so you don't need a lot of time here. Would be great place for breakfast but we had already eaten.

GMC is a great stop near Stowe and just off I89. A large coffee (mmm pumpkin spice) is less than $2 and you can wander around the restored train station and then enjoy your coffee while sitting on a bench or picnic table on the "green" (park) under an ancient maple tree while watching the world go around in Vermont... Great coffee and the staff was outstanding. It's really cool that it's in the train station and has a overview of the company history. Really cool.

They have baked goods and Keurig pods as well as different fancy coffees. We came for simple iced coffees. Coffee was delicious and inexpensive - perfect on a hot day. We enjoyed them enough to come back and get a couple for the trip home.

We stopped hoping we could learn a little more on how our coffee is produced and what we found was a cafe and a train depot.
