This place is a real cider mill. During the season you can watch them make the cider. This place also has a pretty large gift shop with things and foods (like jams and sauces) from local companies. They also have pies, pastries, and their famous...More

Cider Hollow is known for their cider and cider donuts, supposedly one of the top cider donuts in the nation I believe. The apple cider was THE BEST I have ever had. So smooth and flavorful. The donuts were also very good. The best? No....More

Stopped in here for try the donuts and the cider. It's essentially a giant gift shop with tons of food and samples as well as some shirts. The donuts were good, I think they'd be out of this world if they dusted them in some...More

We've never done donuts with sugar. We stick to the classic - a delicious apple cider donut :)

This is another ‘must see/do’ along VT 100. We stopped along with dozens of other tourists looking for a yummy snack or beverage. The cider mill is in full operation with a self-guided tour to watch the process of making apple cider from ‘scratch’, then...More

Stopped here twice on our Vermont visit this week. The doughnuts are excellent - especially if you get one-at-a-time to eat in the store as they give them to you hot, just out of the oven. When we ordered a half dozen, however, they had...More

Donuts do not get made in an oven, they are fried and made using an old fashioned donut robot. If we have hot donuts, we can always give those to customers just make sure you ask specifically for them. Otherwise you'll get the already bagged...More

We always stop here either on the way to Stowe or coming back from Stowe .It's like a large country store. The cider is free ( and all you want) and they have a nice film and exhibits on the cider processing they apparently do...More

Our cider tank is only for a sample, not all you can drink. We prefer customers only take one sample then, we have more for sale if you want more :)

I came from the nearby BEN'S AND JERRY'S Creamery. I heard how this retailer is known for great cider donuts. We bought a dozen donuts and we're disappointed they don't have sugar on them. We have them where we shop when home and expected that....More

Sorry the donuts weren't what you were expecting. We've never done sugar on ours, just a classic apple cider donut!

We found Cold Hollow Cider to be full of Vermont and souvenirs items. The old time apple cider was cold and delicious along w the cider donut. We then went on to try a flight of their hard cider. While the staff was very pleasant...More

Sorry you weren't thrilled with our hard cider! With our hard ciders we aim to always highlight the apples- we do this with no added sugar, no added flavors, and our non-alcoholic cider (pressed using the old rack and cloth method) as the base. So...More
