Well worth the $3 entry. In addition to a lot of interesting exhibits, we were lucky enough to be guided around the museum by Jim, who provided a lot of extra information and insights. A great way to spend some time on a Saturday or Sunday.

Here for a Vermont ski weekend; no snow! We were looking for alternative adventures, and this seemed promising. However, calling first got a recording explaining they were closed for the season. It would be nice if TripAdvisor had the capacity to list seasonal attractions opening and closing dates along with the generic hours of operation.....

This is where it all began. The constitution of Vermont was signed here. Friendly helpful staff in a beautifully resored quintessential Vermont town.

We stopped by this place by chance when on our way elsewhere andweregkad we dropped in. We started with a live cooking demo in the front garden along with a chat on local history which helped put the area in context for us. We then took a guided tour with Andy our very engaging and knowledgeable guide who helped bring... More

My wife and I found this place by accident. The tour guide is the greatest. Everyone who wants to learn more about Vermont history should check out this place.

Though it is only open on the weekend, this is one of the most interesting historical sites I have visited in Vermont. For a mere 3.00 admission it represents one of the best values in terms of historical sites. The American Precision Museumjust up the road represents in my view one of the worst values,as it's 8.00 price tag is hard... More

The tour was fantastic - our guide was incredibly informative and knowledgeable. The house is kept in original form with artifacts throughout. We left with a whole new knowledge of our history. Highly recommended!

We were passing right by as we were on our way from another attraction. Admission was $2.50 and we got a $25 tour! Andrew asked if were wanted the full, or the abbreviated version; we opted for the shorter one. He guided us through the house, enlightening us every step of the way. We were overwhelmed with his knowledge and... More

This looked as if it was going to be a main part of our Windsor visit, but it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays. So be careful when you take the drive out because you don't want to waste a trip. We read the signs on the outside and learned about the house and its owners but that was... More
