Enjoyed traveling over the bridge--it is the longest one we have seen. Wide enough for two cars and traffic was light on the midweek summer day.

Although traffic is a bit heavy on this two way Bridge, it is definitely worth the trip. A great look at the past. We walked over (single file) and admired it from close-up, too.

In the area eating dinner seen it on TripAdvisor and said let's run over and see it less than mile from where we were eating. Nice peace of history seems to be well maintain No charge to cross Two lanes but a little close

Reportedly (according to hotel staff), the longest covered bridge in USA. The bridge crosses the Connecticut river, connecting the towns of Cornish, VT and Windsor, NH. Cornish is a quintessential New England type town. Lovely.

Dual lane bridge. Small parking lot on NH side. Good spot to take a picture. NH side also has a plaque to read about the history.
