My family and I have been going to great country farms since my 5 year old was a baby. The staff is amazing, the experience is always awesome. Every spring my son can't wait to to make our weekly trip to pick fruits and vegetables, jump on the big pillow, feed the animals in the petting zoo and his favorite,... More

Donuts - were slightly above average. Maybe I've just been to more places that hand made better donuts. Amusement Park - run down. The putt putt area had pine needles all over it. The T-Rex smashing/eating pumpkins was lame. The animals I felt sorry for their living conditions but they are probably better than most pet a pet places. Most... More

We visited on a Sunday morning after a rainy day. We got there early and had no wait for tickets. We first enjoyed some warm apple cider donuts for breakfast and they are delicious. We even bought some to bring home. Then we walked around the farm to see what was there. We were traveling without the kids this trip... More

Aside from just being an awesome place to visit any time of year I was amazingly touched by the generosity of the owners to give free admission to military and their families. I went there with my daughter and four grandchildren thinking that I would get free entry but the woman at the desk allowed free entry for all of... More

We were going to go apple picking, but the line for the wagon was too long so the kids decided not to go. Unfortunately, we haven't been in several years and didn't realize my 15 year old was too old to enjoy the farm. Most things to play on say not for kids over 12 so he was bored and... More

We spent a long day at Great Country Farms and the kids (preschoolers) could have stayed even longer, they loved it so much. There are many excellent activities, including elaborate wooden playground equipment (a two-story fort with tube slide, pirate ship, fire engine with slide, etc.), mini golf, farm animals (pigs, goats, turkeys, etc.), giant tires to climb on, swinging... Great Country Farms is a great place to go for families and singles alike! There is so much to do from the petting zoo to giant chess to pick-your-own apples and brewery. We went during the cider festival and they had delicious samples for tasting. They also had fresh-pressed apple cider. My fiancé is in the military and they gave... More

This is an excellent place to go with the family late summer and fall. The leaves start changing, the children's pumped and displays will be out for review, and there may even be a corn maze in the near future. There's so much to do a great country Farms, or GCF as the locals advertise it on their car magnets.... More
