We located this facility by making a wrong turn. However, what a surprise. It is a really neat property, beautiful landscapes, and well worth the time spent.

This was a nice stop off on my way to the Air and Space Museum Annex. I learned a little about the Lee family and early Virginia life. There is parking on site, the tour was informative and fairly cheap at $7, and the staff...More

Not well known except by locals, but worth a visit. Interesting historical site in pleasant park-like area. Good place for a nice walk and picnic. Occasional special events - look for schedule.

Good place to stretch your legs and get alone in nature. The trail here is located behind some residential development. Fortunately not many people get out, so the noise is only wind, rushing water (from the stream), and birds.

A few years back a family member and I went on a guided walking tour with verbal accounts of the property's history- it was around the Christmas Holiday. There are so many cool things here at this place. I was in awe just of the...More

Decided this year to do the candlelight tour civil war themed. I didn't know what to expect, but actually had a great time. It was so much fun to walk through the house. They had dancers and civil war actors and even Santa Clause. It...More
