We had a good wine-tender, very knowledgeable about wines and the history of the area. The tastings were $12 each and included a complimentary glass.

We stopped at a different winery nearby that we had already planned on going. We were not pleased there and left quickly. On the way though, we noticed the sign for Jefferson Vineyards so we decided to give it a shot before heading home. It’s...More

So glad we stopped here. The wines were great. And the tasting experience was fun. The staff was very accommodating. Nice outdoor area for sitting. Would definitely return.

Small, but quaint tasting room. Very nice 10 flight tasting. Never rushed, the pourer was funny, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for the area. Wine was very good, nice selections and good size pours. Beautiful views. Much prefer this much more to the larger vineyards....More

While visiting Monticello, we decided to visit Jefferson's Vineyards. Very disappointing: When we first went up to the tasting bar, we were ignored. Finally, our server, Zenas, asked us if we wanted "the tastings." He seemed indifferent, and not as engaging as the other servers...More

I've frequented Jefferson Vineyards for over 10 years and their wines are remarkably fine. The setting is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing and unpretentious. One of, if not the best wineries in central Virginia.

On a rainy day it was still attracting visitors. A good recommendation.... slightly distracted server at the tasting having to double at the cash register. May have been due to weather, short staffed??
