The food was excellent, and the staff was great. Although we did not visit the shops because of time restrictions, it would be very worthwhile for anyone visiting. FYI they only serve lunch.

This was our third visit over a number of years and, as always, the food was both hearty and wonderful. Can't wait to return again when we are in the area.

The fried chicken is as advertised. Absolutely delicious. Black eyed peas, green beans all very flavorful. Go hungry.

Very nicely preserved old tavern. The fried chicken lived up to its reviews. Moist, crispy and never ending. Your server keeps bringing refills of whatever you ask for. A little pricey but worth it for the overall experience. The biscuits were also excellent.

They have cole slaw. You must pay for the full meal even if you only eat the cole slaw. It is $18 adults and $11 children plus dessert is extra.
