I'm so glad my wife found this place! At first glance I didn't really know what we signed up for, but after meeting the owner and having her explain the process it all started making sense. This place is science and art mixed together. She'll give you the background as to how the glass projects are made and it's up... More

I went to Glass Palette as a "walk-in" although I had stopped in previously just to find out how they worked. So I went with the intention of making earrings, and in 90 minutes or so, I had made 2 pairs of earrings that I designed and that I love! As a walk-in, you are provided with many glass scraps... We arrived at 5 and were told it was too late; we needed AT LEAST an hour and a half to complete the project. The kids were so looking forward to it but we just didn't have time in our schedule to come back. If this was clear on the web site, we could have planned accordingly.

Hello, and thanks for your suggestion to add more info to our website. Just to clarify, your group actually arrived on Friday at 5:25, 35 minutes before our closing time. We are very flexible with our hours and often stay after hours so that our customers can complete projects, but 35 minutes is barely enough time to get started. We... More

2 kids and mom, 2 seniors and we all had a blast. Maria was very patient, very encouraging. We were all novices and they helped us through the process.

Found The Glass Palette on TA and visited with my UVA daughter. Very helpful owners and well worth the visit to create a one of a kind work piece of glass art. Great afternoon of creativity.

My wife and two daughters did glass projects here and raved about how fun and nice the people were. They picked two incense burners and earrings and pendant to make.

Visited the Glass Palate while in Charlottesville for the weekend and SO glad we did! There are LOTS of options available in a wide variety of price points and the staff are very helpful. A nice feature is that the item is priced based on size...not on the amount of glass you add to it so you can really get... More

This is my daughter's favorite thing to do ,so birthdays and some rainy days, we end up at the Glass Palette. Our house is filled with gorgeous glass and all the grandparents have beautiful plates, bowls, and ornaments!
