The museum is part of the train station complex at the end of East Davis St. It is a thorough and interesting history of the town and the surrounding areas, from colonial times thru the Civil War, and to present day.

Worth a look to understand Culpeper's place in Virginia's history and to support the locals. Not very big but the people are clearly proud of their heritage.

Not well done or extensive displays. There is alot of man made history in the area as well as geological history and the museum barely touches upon all that. As a preface to all that history it is fine but don't expect anything in depth.

The Museum of Culpeper is a fascinating place to visit. It covers much of the local Civil War history plus touches on unique displays such as the rich bed of nearby dinasaur tracks.
