The outdoor patios and indoor tasting room are very nice. I like the way each group has someone that serves the tastings, so you have individual attention but can still chat with other groups on each side of you. You can walk inside the wine making facility and see the barrel room. We just missed the end of a bottling... More

Visited Barrel Oak with out of town company. It was crowded, but that didn't impact the service. Derek, who tended bar, offered to pour us a taste of whatever we wanted before selecting a glass. Good customer service, very pet and family friendly. If you go, be sure to bring your favorite nibbles, get a glass of wine and enjoy... More

My wife and I have been here numerous times and thought i'd finally write a review. This was a normal good visit, though they were out of their Bowhouse Red which is my favorite. Pros: The location is easy to get to and scenic. They allow dogs They let you bring in your own food and seating Cons: Wine bottle... More

Went here with our dog and toddler daughter- it was a perfect afternoon! There are many things to keep kids busy (corn hole, bring toys, lots of places to roam around) and our dog was in heaven with other dogs to say hi to, and relaxing on the hillside in the sun. They brew their own beer & obviously their... More

Nice wines, beautiful views, and dogs are welcome inside and out. What could be better? BOW has a fantastic stone patio just outside and offers a nice schedule of events, especially in the warmer months.

If you envision a trip to a winery as a quiet, romantic setting where you and your soul mate sip wine while quietly contemplating the countryside as a guitarist strums soft tunes, this is not the place for you. If, however, you'd like a day out in the beautiful countryside with lots of families and dogs and people just having... More

We went to this winery and it was so overcrowded. A lot of families with kids and dogs running around. Could not find a place to park. Was not appealing for what we wanted to do.

Don't get me wrong. I took my kid to wineries, but mine is well behaved and doesn't scream. The dogs were mostly well behaved, though one golden lab had a problem with a burner and went crazy. Personally, angry barking sets me on edge when I'm trying to enjoy an afternoon. The wine is okay. I was thrilled to find... More

We are in the monthly wine shipment so we're here every month. There's always tons of dogs. Some guests are rude about the kids but they need to go somewhere else. They are open to nine on weekends which is great ( less crowds). The wine is always good!

Visited for a friend's birthday party. Was disappointed that even though she reserved a spot for a group party we did not have anywhere to sit at 1pm. They state its first come first serve. We walked around and saw that someone must have been able to reserve a spot because an entire area was roped off for a 4pm... More
