This place has a modest maritime museum with some nice objects and a park-garden which leads to a restored buy boat. Nice swag bag with books and brochures on local attractions, and in a nice area to visit. In all, quite well done!

This museum takes in the whole history of the area from fishing to hotels. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful nature walk with sculptures and a children’s park although small. Very well worth the walk from our marina.

There are special art exhibits, festivals, live music concerts, summer day camps, catered events, wooded walking paths, boat rides...More

The new main building built after the fire contains several educational exhibits about boats and also local history. Very helpful staff. Don't miss the walk in the woods and the wildlife sculptures along the trail.

What a wonderful place. No glitz or fancy multi-media presentations. Just good old fashioned information on an old fashioned art/trade. Boat building done before electricity, before computers, before big machines, and mostly by hand! Where else can you see how it is done and the...More

Now here's an unexpected little gem. I hadn't been to Deltaville in a few years and had totally missed the fact that the old museum had burned down in a fire in 2012. What has now been built is a beautiful maritime museum nestled in...More
