I visited with my father-in-law who was impressed by the breadth and amount of the holdings. I found the exhibits top-notch. I especially loved the 1950s child’s room. Everything is extremely well-done.

Our first stop on our vacation to Washington D.C. we really enjoyed thw exhibits. Thw museum does a great job taking you through the history of firearms. The staff was very friendly. I would encourage anyone with an interest in firearms to visit

I would recommend calling the headquarters for best directions as it is outside of DC in Fairfax, VA and I am not sure there is a close Metro station: (703) 267-1600. They should be able to assist you best.
