To be up front I’m not a Civil War buff, but I was looking for something to do with my daughter on a beautiful Saturday. History Day was taking place at historic Blenheim so I decided to go. I took a tour of the house...More

Not your typical tourist stop—pleasant respite with walking trails, Civil War History and graffiti in the attic. Former dairy farm that fortunately was preserved. Nice gift shop and lecture hall—check their schedule as the Historic Society hosts some very interesting speakers.

Very interesting museum in footsteps of Civil War soldiers. Home was not open but modern building on site with facsimiles of graffiti of soldiers as they passed through area. Conveys a bit of the real people who fought in the war and very personal and...More

Recently went to see the Blenheim House and was intrigued by the actual handwritten graffiti left by Union soldiers during the civil war. They are still working on restoring and uncovering the writings, but it was truly amazing to see. Would definitely recommend to anyone...More
