Beautiful views of the lake while you run and/or walk along the trail. Multiple jungle gyms, fitness course, picnic areas, boat rentals and even a train. Well groomed and mostly flat.

I have been coming to this park for 40 years. Great place to fish. Ride a boat. Play golf. Mini golf too. Train ride for kids. Carosel horses. Open fields. Frisbee golf also

I walk or bike around Burke Lake at least once a week. It's wonderful in all seasons. It's super easy though heavily trafficked. Try to go on weekdays when the crowds are less.

Very easy to rent boats within the park. Boats operate on a battery.

Yes, you can fish from the pier or boat (rented or your own) at Burke Lake. There's a 24-hour state launch ramp exclusively for anglers near the dam. The Park Authority maintains a ramp and accessible courtesy pier that's... More

Hi Roseanna, The ice-cream parlor at Burke Lake is open at the following times: Sept 8 - Nov-1 - Weekends only - 11 AM - 6 PM Nov1-April 2016 - Closed. I hope that you find your umbrella.
