Very good wine and nice people. Lots of space to enjoy the wine indoors or outdoors. I would return next time I am in the area.

Lovely day, great wine. My friend and I spent a beautiful spring afternoon first tasting the wine inside with the help of a knowledgeable and friendly sommelier and then having a glass out on the deck overlooking the vineyards with mountains in the distance. Perfect.

Barren Ridge Vineyards is a very nice place to visit. The minute we walked through the door we were warmly greeted by the staff. Nancy was our host and she started off by giving us a brief history of the winery. She then asked if...More

Any trip that takes us up or down I-81 we will always plan to stop at this winery. It is dog friendly inside and out (and they have the cutest winery dog, Rascal). The wines are outstanding, we especially love the Touriga and the Cab...More

I worked at a political event at Barren Ridge Vineyards in which we used the upstairs meeting room and small kitchen. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Views of the mountains and fall leaves are magnificent. After the event I listened to live music in...More

Everyone there was great. Lisa behind the counter was friendly and warm. Spoke to the owners Shelbyville and John. They were very friendly and told us the history of the Vineyard and information on growing their grapes. After tasting and purchasing some wine, we sat...More

This winery is down a winding road that takes a few minutes but it is well organized and the set up is very nice. Unfortunately we did not have ample time to sit outside and enjoy some of their wines but the tasting they offered...More

I've been here a couple of times in the past. Today I enjoyed a glass of rose at sunset. Lovely. Prices are reasonable, staff friendly and view is beautiful. What's not to love?

I'm not sure, just went there for a scheduled party. You may want to call. Looks like you can just walk in and sit if you want to wine taste :) they are super friendly.
