They had lots of brochures for all around the state. We did not have any questions so did not interact with either of the two employees there.

Would recommend stopping here before venturing off. They had some good information about town and the drive along Skyline Dr.

Wonderful visitors center. The staff are so friendly and knowledgable about their town and the national park trails, waterfalls and lodging in the park. The town of Front Royal should be proud to have such pleasant and dedicated staff as the face for their tourist...More

Associates were friendly and very capable. They recommended various local restaurants and gave us maps and suggestions for stops on our trip through Skyline Drive.

At most entrance to the Drive from the visitor's center is 2 miles. They have fantastic info at the center and it's worth a stop. Have a great visit.

There is a printed guide for a walking tour. I think there may also be guides to hire - you might call the center to ask.
