The exhibits in this museum show the local history of many cultures. Interesting to me was the description of the Great Dismal Swamp Wildlife Refuge, which was a haven for escaped slaves.

I was sponsoring our family reunion, looking for a few extra places and things to do I happen to pass a sign of Hampton History Museum. They offered numerous events, historical places and sites that was visited by my family.

This is a wonderful informative display of Hampton history in downtown Hampton. Near the Air and Space museum and a great day to spend in Hampton.
