The arboretum at JMU is absolutely my favorite place in Harrisonburg. It's a great spot to visit anytime of the year. Be sure to bring your camera! The flowers, the pond, the trails are wonderful.

Quick trip from our B&B. Pick up some bird food from the Petco down the road and feed the ducks (don't feed them bread)!

They have a really nice, accessible paved trail around the pond. The trails into the woods are beautiful and well maintained. It's a little oasis. And they offer great programs and talks!

Not far from the house so I frequent the Arboretum on a regular basis. Beautiful spot with an outstanding variety of flora. Excellent spot to take a break!

Visited in June and loved it! Just the right scale for a family walk. Nice shade. Many lovely venues for family pictures.
