I went to the market for the first time this past Saturday. Got there around 9am. It was a great little place. Wish I had no eaten breakfast as they has two food trucks and several vendors who had tasty items. Great coffee vendor also. Lots of great greens and veggies. A few vendors had handmade jewelery and towels. If... More

This is a place to wonder and look for something special. The shoofly pie is a delicious 'wet bottom' pie that brings back childhood memories. You will find meats, cheeses and bulk candy and spices. Hank's is a place to take a break and eat a great lunch. Looking for a gift.....wonder through the small market stalls.

What a great place to get locally made items from foods to jewelry to artwork. It was cold outside, but I'm glad we went here and could shop local.

Excellent place to feel the pulse of the community with farmers sharing their produce and products. Breakfast sandwiches, with fair trade coffee, followed by a variety of sweet rolls or breads. Live music to shop by. Interesting collection of crafts persons with their wares too.

My wife and I have visited the Harrisonburg area for many years now and arrange our week long trips to begin on Fridays so we can attend the Farmers Market twice during the week….on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Why…. because we are timeshare members and have a kitchen to take advantage of the fresh produce, breads and other goodies available at... More

Enjoyed market on Saturday--watch your time so you don't miss it. Lots of interesting, not typical food. Purchased fresh lima beans, mushrooms, lavender and a tonic. All plants for sale. Only drawback--serve many varieties of coffee--no rest rooms!

The Harrisonburg Farmers' Market has come a long way over time and for several years has been comfortable under a roof. It changes with the seasons and always has things of interest. It is a great source of plantings in the spring and a wonderful place for the freshest of vegetables for several months. It is a popular place for... More

We had a great time visiting the farmers' market. There were many folks there selling goods. We bought a bit here and there and then found a table to sit and nibble. Well worth the visit. (Bathrooms are available nearby - just ask!) I went with my sister and her family and my mother. But because none of us are... More

Saturday, September 24, 2016 - 7:30 am. I had this farmer's market recommended to me by my manager where we are staying. She raved about it. And I can see why to a certain degree. So, because I like our manager and was telling her that we were in search of some fresh farm eggs and honey, I gave it... More
