Court Square Theater is the premier Performing Arts and Cinema venue in downtown Harrisonburg Court Square Theater was once home to the Rockingham Motor Company (RMC), but in,1998, it was renovated into a theater as part of the Harrisonburg downtown revitalization effort. The architects that renovated the space wanted to retain some of the historic charm and you can still find RMC's name and iconic shields on the exterior and the interior of the building today. Live Theatre, Movies, Concerts, Dance, and Comedy all happen at Court Square Theater. Check our website to stay up to date on what is happening at the theater!

Nice venue

Seen some very good music and theater at this place. They are in the process of putting in new seats which will make it more comfortable.

We have attended music concerts, bands, theater productions and a great variety of different movies normally not shown in your big time local theaters. Small venue.

I've never seen a "bad" movie at CST, but the uncomfortable seats take getting used to. Maybe it's time to have them replaced?

Attended a theatre production here written and produced by a local artist. Enjoyed the performance. The theatre is cute, seats are comfortable and it accommodates a fairly large gathering.

We love CST so much that we volunteer here to help greet patrons and work the "Will Call" table....and there is always a great show at CST. House manager Patrick is a most amicable fellow who works very hard at making sure patrons are well served...the snacks, soft drinks, craft beers and local wines will greet you and all such... More

Tis is a small and intimate theater. Rocking seats are big and comfortable. the proxminity to the stage is perfect for those up close and personal stage scenes. beverages and snacks are available. the shows cost vary but are very reasonable for the quality of the performance. A must do in downtown Harrisonburg.

I am a "local" to Harrisonburg, and this theater is one of our sweetest treasures. I think the entertainment selections are great with a variety of performances for every one...and movies that have depth-appeal ... something not always common in the mainstream theaters. Court Square Theater also has a variety of snacks and beverages to enjoy! It's a hometown hit!

There is no bad seat in the house because this is a small venue. You can see live shows and movies here. It is right on Court Square with lots of interesting places nearby for dinner and drinks.

We would much rather visit a classic small independent theatre like this one, it was excellent. Clean and simply marvelous decor. A nice little snack stand with reasonable prices. My only complaint is they didn't have fresh popcorn.
