My partner is from Eerie PA and had mentioned she missed seeing the water, so I took her here on a whim. The trail is short but it is a nice view of the Potomac River, we may come back and have a picnic at a later date.

This attraction is one you might miss if you don't pay special attention - there is ample parking and offers both an easy and more challenging hike to the overlook. Well worth it - with beautiful views of the Potomac River.

We took a day trip from MD to Leesburg and wanted to fit in a quick hike between antiquing and wine tasting. This park fit the bill. The white trail is a 1.2 mile loop from one end of the parking area to the other. There are several spots to stop and look at the Potomac. The trail was VERY... More

This park is small(ish) but packs a big punch. Great trails and a great overlook across the Potomac River from VA into MD. The trails are great for hiking / trail running. The park itself is awesome for picnics! The park is pet friendly - a great place to take your dog! Also, there are some really cool remnants of... More

There are some wonderful buildings/ruins here to look at along with a gorgeous hike with lots of options for the trails to lead you to overlook the Potomac River. Close by and I would love to visit all of the trail options.

Nice place for families to have some outdoor fun with river, woods, and abandoned structures. However, don't expect out of world experience in any of these. This spot looks very popular among local photographers. You can find many of them with all props taking family portraits.

You enter this site next to the well-preserved ruins of a Loudoun County farm. Each building is well-marked. The grounds are well cared for. I have been there several times and have been virtually alone each time. There is ample parking. No facilities.

Quiet, with a nice walk down to see the water. A couple of historical markers, Very pretty woods, with a main well-kept path and slightly more rustic side paths.

I've been over there couple times - a really nice and not noisy/crowdy place to walk. I'd say it is a little bit wild though nice and really natural. Stay safe - watch where you step - there is a chance to meet snakes - never saw them in person though I know those who did - so a little... More

Love taking my two dogs here for walks through the woods. Nice and shady, which is perfect for hot days. You can take easy trails or opt for more challenging climbs. Nice view of the Potomac River at the overlook.
