The VMI is a very big academy. It has got a small museum. You can visit several buildings, i.e. the living quarters. It is worthy spending an hour of your time here.

Go for a parade but don’t fore get to visit the Marshall Library. I don't know of another place where you can see a Nobel peace prize and an Oscar in the same museum. In addition check out the VMI museum in Jackson Memorial Hall.

If you are a history buff, VMI is a must see if you are in the area. There is so much tradition and history kept alive here. Parades are held Friday afternoons and before every home football game and are not to be missed!
